Tracks and Trails

Mouse prints in the snow
I found tracks of wood pile residents on the porch. We call them the "O B'Jeezus! Mice" because that is what is said when uncovering them getting wood for the fire.
New trails in the Bird Garden
Today has been sunny, bright and cold. The dogs Dillon & Zena and I forged some new trails in the garden. Plowing through thigh high snow attached to 2 stir crazy dogs is a really good cardio blast, I admit to tipping over at least once.
I think the rest of the day will be pretty quiet.

Large and Small

Spring Grove Glacier circa: 2015
We got ourselves dug out again. I missed the last big dig as I was traveling.
Each storm adds a new layer and the contours of the land are erased.
Sometimes the best response is to curl up and be cozy.

Disappearing

Weiglia in Winter
The past couple of months have been full. Pulling my focus to other places in my life. Many storms have blown through and I have been either tossed about or hunkering down waiting for things to pass.
The weather has been a bit of a bear too. More snow is coming in tonight.
Time for a fire and some cookies.
Time to start tunneling out.
