Today I noticed that I take great joy in moments of discovery, and that moments like this can be found even as you are washing a window...

...but only if you are vewy, vewy, quiet.

Growth Patterns

I've been thinking about the way plants follow patterns as they grow. Each leaf on a plant may be different but it follows the pattern specific to the particular plant nonetheless (well, unless its sick or injured and even then it will try to revert to form when it can)
Its programmed into the DNA.
I suspect we are the same in that we each have a "best way" to grow programmed into us... of course the difference is that we can try to force ourselves to deny our pattern through ignorance or ego. Its difficult to relearn to trust our innate patterns after denying them for so long... I am in that process now, sometimes I have a harder time with it than others, the trick of it seems to be able to pay attention to what is going on inside of yourself without falling into judgement of it.
