Completed just in time for the new year!
80 members in all, they make a nice looking group.
Working/posting every day of Dec has been a challenge especially for the holidays, its easy to get distracted.Tonight we will be ringing in the New Year with some friends and loud music.
I hope all of you have a wonderful and safe night too.

This stone has some variation in the blackness and dimples distinguishing it in its tribe.
Communally they are all "black slate" Its interesting to see how much variety is innate to the most basic tribal trait.
being this consistent keeps me present in the work
making the internal conversation a bit more developed/explored.
a part of the daily goal.

This is one of the smallest of the tribe. Its about a centimeter on the long axis. Little ones are often the most difficult to make, they are tough to hang onto. I have considered looking for a fishing fly tying vise. I wonder if they open widely enough to accommodate the various sizes of the stones? 
Today I turned 52  yikes!
I never quite feel like an adult and that may be for the best in many ways... I keep looking and questioning.

I never really know how these will turn out, there is no overall plan just the limitation of the tribal identity and whatever works. Thhat and whatever I bring to it create the individuals. The process takes some looking as well as doing. I found this one staring back at me when it was finished.
I found this online a couple of days ago and it just cracked me up.

 I've lost the attribution but I know its a seagull peering into a security camera, possibly in Barcelona

Our old truck died last week and we managed to find a new (to us) car over the weekend.

we named her Trixie
