This season is racing by. Already buds are forming on my peony and nearly all of the leaves have arrived.
I love the tones of early spring, russet of newly emerged leaves, vivid yellow of daffodils, softly glowing violets and the gorgeous newborn green that seems to glow on days when the bright afternoon sun lights them against storm clouds moving off into the distance.
I dyed this group of fabrics in tones reminiscent of these colors...
