King Richards Faire last weekend. They were gifted to us and so we were able to treat some friends to the spectacle.

We have gone a number of times. It is silly fun. We enjoy the show, it includes skits, acrobats, beer and a joust. There is a big cat show as well. Many of the folks who go dress in costumes. You see many little fairy princesses, swordsmen of all sizes, and the occasional formal pig. A good time was had by all.

LOCE that horse...it's just like the one I pictured in my head when I would tie my bathrope sash to the bed post and ride away nightly. I was a girl of 8 or 9 then. We have something like this here in New York too...at Fort Tryon Park October 1st this year and can be reached by train.
ReplyDeleteI had horse fever when I was a kid... the passion I felt! It never quite survived my real experience with riding them. Horses know who is in charge, and they know its not me :)
