Yesterday Today

In Dec of 2012 I wrapped stones for the victims of Sandy Hook.
Today I looked at them again. 27 and a space for the 28th.
Sandy Hook.

It is a sad time the stones commemorate
hard stones for hard times made lovingly

We count yet again in the wake of another school tragedy. And I can't help but think that the hundreds and thousands of stitches I have made don't even begin to represent those lost in our lifetimes to wars and suicide bombers, drunken drivers and mass shootings ... the senseless, needless loss of precious life. And I go back to Judy's Journal for today (http://judys-journal.blogspot.com/2018/02/life-affirming.html) and re-read her words, "Those of us who make things affirm life."

Thank you for your affirmations ... and for sharing them with us here
