Watching and Waiting

This spring the garden is a practice of patience.
After so much disruption last year I wait and watch as it settles back, sets roots and begins to grow again.
I've had to cut back many of the transplants to the ground to ensure that the roots will be able to develop as strongly as possible. In areas it looks empty but I will wait to put new things in until I've seen what develops.
Its a source of renewal to watch last years plants start to bloom
