Lit'le Bitty Loom

I've been a little bit frustrated with the process of bead weaving during my last experiments.
I've found myself wrestling with the unfamiliar materials and their qualities as well as the process itself, (I haven't done much weaving in my life, and come to think on it most of that was 20+ years ago)
So tonight I figured I'd make myself a little loom and see how it helps.

just a great deal of fuddling about.

A small experiment in needle weaving...

9:00 already!

My free time this evening got eaten up with a run

(2 weeks until my first ever 5K!!)

and a small dye job for a customer.

I did find time to gather these today. Not sure what this plant is called, it blooms at this time of year, little white dots of flowers. These are the discarded seed pods from last year's blooms. Very little color to them just brown and gray but the delicate little pod shapes caught my eye and home they came...
