Hi Annalise, I scrolled through your photos way back to where you left off wrapping stones. I really like what you are doing with natural found materials, and there seems to be a nice progression there from the stones to the soft organic shapes, they keep good company. I get a star because I have always gathered tree droppings, seeds, etc., but I just let them adorn spots in the house in little piles, or in bowls or baskets. Artists who take the time to work them into sensitive, meditative works of art, such as you are conjuring, get, oh, at least 10 stars! Keep following this path! Oh, p.s., do you save your bird's feathers when he molts? He has lovely feather colors. Did you know you can shampoo some dirty bird feathers and restore their condition with a little fussing and preening? They are great for art.

Hi Julia
I haven't collected many of his feathers (I didn't know they could be washed and reconstituted...thanks!)
I will probably be wrapping more stones in the future, I don't think they are done with me yet :)
