Imperfections

Many bits are unraveling,

improperly turned edges,

uneveness in fabric weight, puckers.
The land where my little tree dwells is far from perfect.

I struggle with shame for my taste for imperfections. Somewhere along the way I got infected with the perfectionist bug, and even though that quest for perfection doesn't really serve my artist I struggle with letting go and embracing the "perfectly imperfect" in my own work (even though I LOVE it in others works)

perfection is bodhisattva and we're not ready for it yet.
there's a lot of poetry to imperfection
