Buttons
Sometimes I think I should probably look for a book of beading techniques. I tend to spend a great deal of time reinventing the wheel, figuring out how to do things that I'm sure have been solved by someone else somewhere in the long history of making stuff.
Then again reinventing the wheel is sort of what we all do all the time, so no rush, I can forge my own path.
I really like this one, very simple it seems dignified and the buttons are laying down just as I wanted them to.

Spring Tribe
Coming back to the tribe again,
It is a knowing.
Thats how it is with some tribes,
they look into each others eyes and find themselves looking back.

It's Sprung!

I have two new projects for the yard and a few others to get to leftover from last year.
Here is the start of one of the new ones:

This bird bath has never provided much for the bird population but it has done plenty to aid the mosquitoes so I'm turning it into a succulent fountain
I just got the plants today from Succulents Galore on Etsy (very exciting to open the package)succulents!! |

Other big projects, like mulching the back beds, clearing the woodsy edge of deadfall, creating a branch barrier, staining the concrete foundation and making a house number are still to come...
This is going to be a fun season!
