Fuddling about is good, helps clear the vision. My fuddling about takes the form of re-dyeing an old cloth, if what I had hoped for in terms of color or imprint, did not come to fruition. It's all part of the doing and sometimes, fuddling is the best result!

You are right of course... sometimes hard to just let go and let a fuddle be a fuddle :)
