9:00 Already!

Ok I had plans to get something more thoughtful up tonight but nope the evening is rapidly running out of minutes... so instead I will just post some pictures of how the linen came out. I ended up making table runners from it. The center piece looks as though it was cut and resewn but it is just the way I folded it.

Beautiful! Makes me want to go find some linen and make some for my table!

Fabulous. I am always amazed by the beauty and control of your work. It's free and fluid but the patterns are always defined. I love all three of these, but I think my favorite is the one in the middle. Lovely! Something to aspire to :)

Thanks!
I highly recommend linen, its just plain yummy,As to the control vs fluidity I think that is part of the appeal of shibori. Order is imposed (the resist) then it is exposed to the chaotic (dye)when a balance can be found you discover beauty.
